Privacy notice
How we handle the details you send us through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you use our quote builder, bulk pricing form or contact form, you choose to send us your name, phone number, email address, location and project details. These forms don't send anything to us by themselves: they open your email app or WhatsApp with your message filled in, and you decide whether to send it.
The quote builder keeps your list of openings in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you move between pages. It isn't sent to us until you send it. You can clear it with the "Clear list" button.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and book a site measure.
- To manufacture, deliver and install your order.
- To contact you about your order or quote.
We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Third parties
Messages you send by WhatsApp or email are handled by those services under their own privacy policies. The map on our contact page is provided by Google. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and some photos from Unsplash.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@alkon.co.za or call 067 107 8983.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can contact the Information Regulator of South Africa.
